Cast stone, so it stays put
Relaxdays cast stone dispenser with a stainless pump, 300 ml
A cast stone dispenser with a steel pump: heavy, matt, and the one here that does not slide across the ledge when you use it.
What you are getting
A cast stone soap dispenser in concrete grey holding about 300 ml, with a stainless steel pump head, refillable.
Weight is the feature
Pressing a soap pump is a one-handed action, with nothing anchoring the bottle.
A light plastic dispenser slides, tips, or walks slowly towards the edge of the ledge. A cast stone one does not move at all. That sounds like nothing until you have owned both.
The pump, in steel
The pump is the part that fails: it stops priming, or the spring goes, and the body is still perfect.
Stainless steel here, where the cheapest dispenser in this hub uses plastic.
The finish
Matt concrete grey. It hides water marks and dried soap splash completely — which on a dispenser standing beside a basin is the difference between wiping it daily and never.
What is not published
Any dimension. How tall, how wide, how much of the ledge it takes. One dispenser in this hub publishes 9.5 × 20 × 6 cm; this one gives nothing.
And the caution
Cast stone is heavy. Knocked off a ledge onto a ceramic basin, it will chip the basin rather than itself.
