The best pull-out kitchen taps for 2026

The pull-out spray is the one kitchen tap feature people actually use daily, and it is also the one that fails. It works by a counterweight that drags the hose back down under the sink, so the space below matters: a deep drawer unit or a water softener in the cupboard can stop the weight travelling and leave the hose hanging out. Hose length decides whether you can fill a bucket on the floor — 1.2 m is short, 1.5 m is common, 2 m reaches. Then the ordinary tap figures still apply: spout height for filling a tall pot, spout reach for a double bowl, and the swivel range, which is 360° on some and a deliberately limited 120° on models meant to sit under a window. We compare hose length, spray modes, swivel range, spout height and reach, tap hole diameter, and cartridge diameter.

The models we recommend

  1. FORIOUS stainless steel pull-out kitchen mixer, 18 cm outlet height

    Pull-out kitchen mixer · 45 cm pull-out · 18 cm outlet height · 38.5 cm overall · two modes · 360° · 1.5 gpm stated

The only pull-out in this hub that publishes an outlet height, an overall height, a pull-out length and a flow figure — four numbers where the shelf usually offers a photograph.

Best for: A mains-pressure kitchen with a double bowl, where the tap has to be checked against a windowsill or a wall cupboard before it is bought.

  2. Auralum high-pressure pull-out kitchen mixer, two-jet spray, removable aerator

    Pull-out kitchen mixer · two-jet spray on a rocker · removable aerator · hoses pre-assembled · high pressure

A high-pressure kitchen mixer whose spray switches on a rocker and whose aerator lifts out for descaling — a listing about the parts you touch, and silent on every dimension.

Best for: A mains-pressure kitchen where a pull-out spray is wanted at the entry price, and where nothing overhead constrains the height.

  3. Engelbach 304 stainless pull-out kitchen mixer, 33–38 mm tap hole

    Pull-out kitchen mixer · 304 stainless · 40 cm pull-out · ceramic cartridge · hole Ø33–38 mm · worktop to 40 mm · 3/8 in

The pull-out that answers the fitting questions: a tap hole range, a worktop thickness limit, a connection thread and a named cartridge — everything except a height.

Best for: A single-hole sink of known bore, on a worktop of known thickness, where the fitting has to be right first time.

    ≈ 55 €

  4. Schütte LONDON pull-out kitchen mixer, 298 mm overall, 1500 mm spray hose

Pull-out kitchen mixer · 298 mm overall height · 1500 mm spray hose · DVGW 400 mm tails · replaceable ceramic disc cartridge

The longest spray hose in this catalogue by a wide margin — 1500 mm, published — on a tap that also states its overall envelope and a replaceable cartridge.

Best for: A deep sink or a kitchen where the spray needs to reach a bucket on the floor, with isolating valves close under the deck.

    ≈ £88 / 71 €

  5. hansgrohe Focus M41 pull-out kitchen mixer, 240 mm outlet height

    Pull-out kitchen mixer · 240 mm outlet height · 230 mm clearance (ComfortZone 240) · 110°/150° swivel · 35 mm hole · G3/8 DN15

A pull-out that publishes an outlet height, a working clearance, two selectable swivel ranges, a tap hole size and a connection standard — and states that it suits an instantaneous heater.

Best for: A kitchen where the tap must be specified before it is bought — a known 35 mm deck, a wall or hob close by, and possibly an instantaneous heater.
