What you are getting

A flat silicone toilet brush on a stainless steel handle, with a stainless wall holder mounted on an adhesive pad, plus a spare brush head, a spare adhesive pad and an additional wall hook.

Hanging it up is the point

A conventional brush goes back into a base and the water runs off it and stays there. That base is where the smell in a small cloakroom comes from.

On the wall, the brush drips once and dries — and it takes no floor space at all, which in a cloakroom is worth as much.

Silicone versus bristles

Silicone is a flat blade. It scrapes under the rim rather than scrubbing, it sheds water rather than holding it, and it does not go grey.

Bristles get into more corners and hold more water. Two brushes in this hub are each; neither is the upgrade.

The adhesive, and what it needs

Smooth, clean, dry. Wipe the spot with alcohol, let it dry, press hard, and leave it a full day before hanging the brush.
