As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
BathVerdict is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.
What that means in practice
Each "Check price on Amazon" button here is an affiliate link. Click one and buy, and Amazon pays us a small commission; the price you pay is not affected in any way.
Every price button on this site links straight to Amazon, with our affiliate tag in the address. That is how one button can serve readers in several markets.
Where this could pull us off course, and what holds against it
Because commission is a percentage, an expensive recommendation earns more in principle. Three structural facts push the other way, and they are set out below rather than left implied.
- We do not rank by commission, and no ranking on this site has ever been reordered because of what a product pays. Where the honest recommendation is the cheapest item on the page — or a technique to learn rather than a product to buy — that is what the page says.
- Some of the things we recommend most firmly cost under twenty dollars, and several of the products we cover are not the ones we send people to first. Price does not decide the order, and neither does commission.
- Where we cannot verify that a product exists on the Amazon store this site links to, we send you to a search rather than to a product page — a link that earns us less and costs you nothing.
What we never do
No payment is accepted for placement, for ranking or for favorable coverage. No sponsored content is published. No review is promised in exchange for a sample, and sending one buys nothing.
Prices
A live price shown on this site is pulled from Amazon's price history for the United States store and cached briefly. It is an indication, not an offer: the price that counts is the one Amazon displays at the moment you buy.
