A roll holder is bought on how it attaches, because that is the only part that fails. Screwed holders never move and put two holes in tile. Adhesive holders — 3M VHB-type pads or dedicated glue — hold a genuinely useful load on smooth tile, need the stated cure time before use, and do not hold on textured stone or fresh silicone. Self-adhesive with a rust-proof plate is the version worth having; the cheap double-sided foam is not.
