Covered, and it hides its own fixings
Brabantia Classic covered roll holder, matt steel, screws or tape
The covered holder that keeps the roll dry, hides its own screws, and offers both mounting methods in one box.
What you are getting
A covered toilet roll holder in matt steel, mountable with screws or double-sided 3M tape — both supplied — with the fixing point concealed behind the mount, corrosion-resistant materials, Cradle to Cradle certification at bronze level, and a stated ten-year guarantee.
Both mounting methods, in one box
Every other holder in this hub commits to one. Screws or tape, decided when you are standing at the wall with the holder in your hand.
Tape for smooth tile in a rented flat. Screws for a papered or textured wall, or where somebody will put a hand on it.
The fixings are hidden
Whichever method you use, the mount covers it. No visible screw heads, no rectangle of tape showing round the edge.
What the cover is for
An open roll in a bathroom with a shower and no extractor absorbs moisture and dust. It softens, it tears badly, and the top sheets get discarded.
The cover keeps the roll dry and the dust off — which is a small daily thing that nobody notices until it is missing.
What is not published
Projection. How far it stands off the wall, at knee height, beside a pan in a narrow cloakroom. One holder in this hub publishes 7.8 cm; this one publishes nothing.
The ten years
A guarantee that long, on a fitting this simple, is mostly a statement about the corrosion resistance of the metal. Which is the thing that actually kills a roll holder in a wet room.
