What you are getting

The condition, stated

That sentence is doing real work. Suction cups need to seal, and they cannot seal against:
- a textured anti-slip tray surface, which many modern trays have moulded in
- a soap film, which builds up within days
- a tile with a matt or riven finish
Naming acrylic, enamel and smooth tile tells you where it works before you order.
The setting-up step
Lay it flat and spray it with warm water before first use. A mat out of a folded package has creases that hold half the cups off the floor, and a mat gripping on half its cups is a mat that slides.
Two hooks
Same as the mat above it in this hub, and for the same reason: a mat left flat traps water underneath and grows a black ring. Hung up, it dries.
What a mat is and is not
It improves grip underfoot on a wet floor. It is not a guarantee against a fall, and neither this listing nor this page claims otherwise.
