A pair, colour-coded, with the rosettes
Lazardo stainless steel angle valve pair, red and blue, 89 mm long
A colour-coded pair with the wall rosettes included — which is exactly what a basin needs, in one order.
What you are getting
Two stainless steel angle valves, one with a red handle and one with a blue, each 8.9 cm long, with a 1/2 in wall connection and a 3/8 in outlet, supplied with two wall rosettes.
A pair, which is how they are used
A basin has two supplies. Buying angle valves singly means ordering two, and discovering afterwards that the rosettes were separate.
Two valves, two rosettes, one parcel. That is the whole argument, and it is a good one.
The colour coding, and its condition
Red for hot, blue for cold, identifiable in a dark cupboard without turning anything on.
The condition attached: fit them the right way round. A colour-coded valve on the wrong supply is worse than an unmarked one, because the next person will trust it.
The length, published
8.9 cm. That is how far the valve projects from the wall, and it is what runs out of room behind a pedestal or inside a shallow vanity where the hose has to turn immediately.
No other valve in this hub gives it.
The gap, shared with the whole hub
No filter. After any work on the mains, grit travels, and it is a tap cartridge that stops it.
