The adhesive is not in the box. That is stated openly, which is to the maker’s credit, and it is still the thing that will stop the job on a Saturday afternoon. If gluing is why you are buying this, order the adhesive at the same time.

The maker offers it as an option, and it is genuinely useful in a rental. It needs the right adhesive, a properly clean and dry surface, and curing time before any weight goes on it. And you have to buy the adhesive: the listing states it is not supplied.
For a rail set it is generous rather than excessive — it reaches the floor of a bath for rinsing it out, and it reaches a child sitting down. The cost is a hose that loops on the floor when the head is docked.
