Take the Crometta where the mains pressure wanders. "Limited automatically to a maximum of 9 l/min even at differing water pressure" is a regulator rather than a restrictor, and it means the shower feels the same at seven in the morning as at midnight.
Take the Vitalio in a rented flat with tiles nobody wants drilled, and order the adhesive at the same time — the maker states in its own title that it is not supplied. The 175 cm hose is the longest here and reaches the floor of a bath.
A restrictor is a fixed hole: the flow through it still rises when your pressure rises. A regulator holds the flow at a set maximum across a range of pressures. One of these two states that the limit applies "even at differing water pressure", which is the distinction.
One of these two offers it, and it is genuinely useful in a rental. It needs the right adhesive, a clean dry surface and curing time before any weight goes on it — and the adhesive itself is not in the box, which the maker says openly in its own title.
