The number to check first

Up to 18 mm of glass.

Frameless shower panels are usually 6, 8 or 10 mm; a walk-in screen can be thicker. Eighteen millimetres covers essentially everything — and the maker still asks you to measure, which is the right instruction.

If your enclosure is framed, or you use a curtain, this shelf has nothing to hang from. The tension-pole shelf in this hub is the one that works anywhere.

The pads are not decoration
