A 90 cm channel whose trap swivels through a full circle — which is what saves an installation when the waste pipe is not where the channel wants it.
The bottom line The retrofit channel: fast, and able to meet a pipe wherever it already is. Buy a different one if the cover has to disappear into the tile.

New bathrooms put the waste where the drawing says. Existing bathrooms have a pipe already in the floor, running the way somebody decided decades ago.

In a new build the pipe goes where you want it. In a retrofit it is already there, running in a direction chosen thirty years ago. A trap that swivels through a full circle means the channel points at the pipe instead of the pipe being rerouted — which is the difference between a day and a week.
The listing does not state a tileable cover, only a stainless one. If an invisible tiled line is the look you want, three other channels in this hub state a reversible or tileable grate explicitly.
