AiQInu round stainless rain head, 20 cm, air-injected review

A 20 cm round stainless head with an air-injected pattern and TPE nozzles, at the price of a takeaway — and without a single flow figure.

The bottom line The straightforward 20 cm round replacement. It states the technology that matters and none of the numbers.

What you are getting

A round electroplated stainless rain head of 20 cm diameter with an air-injected pattern, a built-in 360° ball joint, TPE outlets and a G1/2 thread.

Air injection is the right claim at this size

20 cm is a modest face. Air drawn into the stream makes each drop larger and softer, so a modest flow lands like a full one. That is a genuine reason to prefer this over a plain head of the same diameter.

What is not published

Any flow figure, at any pressure. Two heads in this hub publish theirs; this one does not. On a head that will replace whatever you have now, that means you cannot tell in advance whether the shower gets stronger or weaker.

The nozzles

TPE — a flexible plastic, stated as easy to wipe and slow to block. It does the same job as the silicone nozzles named elsewhere in this hub, and it is worth knowing they are not the same material.

Availability

On sale from 20 € to 25 € on the German, French and Spanish Amazon stores at the time of checking.

Also on sale on the British Amazon store, in the local currency: the range above is measured on the euro stores only.

The Italian Amazon listing is priced above 1.6× the cheapest store, which is normally a reshipping offer rather than a local price; it is left out of the range above.

  • An electroplated stainless face and a built-in 360° ball joint
  • A G1/2 thread and a tool-free swap onto an existing arm

Compromises

  • No flow figure and no reference pressure of any kind

Questions people actually ask

What does air injection do?

It draws air into the stream so each drop is bigger and softer, which makes a given flow feel fuller. It is the standard way of making a water-saving head feel like a generous one, and it is the right claim for a head this size.

Will it fit my arm?

If your existing head unscrews by hand from a threaded arm, yes — G1/2 is the near-universal standard, and this head states it.
