Why is folded height the measurement that matters?
Because the tap has to pass under the window when it is folded. If your sill leaves 70 mm and the tap folds to 75, the window will not close, and no other specification rescues it.
Do the metal levers matter?
They are handled several times a day with wet hands, and a plastic lever eventually cracks at its pivot. Stating them is a small honesty about where the money went.
