VOVO electric bidet seat, full stainless nozzle, wireless remote, made in Korea review

The only bidet seat here with a full stainless steel nozzle and named level counts for every function — three for heat, five for position and pressure.

The bottom line The best-built seat in the hub — stainless nozzle, everything counted in levels — sold without a single dimension. Confirm your pan is round first.

What you are getting

An electric bidet seat with a full stainless steel nozzle performing front, rear and turbo washes with rhythmic movement, five nozzle positions, five pressure levels, three levels each of seat heating, water heating and warm-air drying, a wireless remote, a deodoriser, an LED night light and an automatic energy-saving mode.

The nozzle is the specification

Full stainless steel, stated as semi-permanent.

Every other seat in this hub sprays through moulded plastic. On a fitting this expensive, having the wearing part in steel is what separates a ten-year seat from a three-year one.

Numbers instead of adjectives

Three heat levels. Five nozzle positions. Five pressure levels.

Compare with the listings here that say “adjustable”. A count tells you how finely, and whether the setting you want exists between two others.

What you must check first

The pan shape. This is a round seat, and no dimensions are published. Measure from between your fixing holes to the front edge: roughly 40 to 42 cm is round, 45 to 48 cm is oval. Get this wrong and nothing else on the specification matters.

The electrical supply. A socket at the toilet, in a bathroom, to the zone rules that apply where you live. That is an electrician, and it belongs in the budget.

What we like, and what we don't

Strengths

  • A full stainless steel nozzle, stated as semi-permanent — where the rest of this shelf uses plastic
  • Every function has a stated number of levels: three for heat, five for nozzle position, five for pressure
  • A wireless remote, a deodoriser, an LED night light and an automatic energy-saving mode

Compromises

  • Needs mains electricity at the toilet, which is an electrician's job in most European bathrooms
  • No dimensions published at all, on the dearest product in this hub
  • A round seat — check your pan shape, because a round seat on an oval pan is wrong in both directions

Questions people actually ask

Why does a stainless nozzle matter?

It is the part that sprays, retracts and self-cleans thousands of times, and on most seats it is moulded plastic. Stainless steel is what the maker calls semi-permanent, and on a seat at this price the nozzle is the component you would least want to be a consumable.

Round or oval — how do I tell?

Measure from between the fixing holes to the front edge of the pan. Around 40 to 42 cm is a round pan; 45 to 48 cm is oval. This seat is stated as round, and no dimensions are published, so the measurement has to come from your own pan.
