Why the height figure matters here

A waterfall spout drops a flat sheet of water rather than a jet. Drop height is what decides whether it lands in the bowl or on the worktop, and a published spout height is what lets you check it against your basin before ordering.

Folded height is the number, and it is usually in the smallest type. Measure to the bottom of the window sash as it swings past, not to the frame.
