Single-hole mounting, or three holes with the escutcheon included
1.2 gpm, EPA WaterSense; ADA compliant
Spout height 5 in, spout reach 5.5 in, 4.4 lb, disc valve
Limited lifetime warranty
One hole or three
The escutcheon is the point of this faucet. It turns a 3-hole, 4-inch sink into a one-lever sink without replacing the china, and leaves you free to fit it on a single-hole counter later.
The longest reach here
5.5 inches, against 5.32 for the Kohler Willamette and 4.36 for the Moen Chateau. On a deep oval bowl, that is the difference between water over the drain and water down the back of the bowl.
The contradiction
The spec table says high arc. The description says low-arc design. The published spout height, 5 inches, is the number to trust: a mid-height spout, enough for hands, not for a bucket.
What is not stated
No drain among the components. No lead-free state laws named, though Moen states compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act on its other listings. No cartridge size.

The questions we get
What is the escutcheon for?
It is a plate that sits under the faucet and covers the two unused holes of a 3-hole sink. With it, this one-hole faucet goes on a 4-inch centerset sink; without it, on a single-hole counter. Moen includes it in the box.
Is the spout high or low?
The listing contradicts itself: the spec table says high arc, the description says low arc. The published height is 5 inches, which is a mid-height spout by bathroom standards — enough for hands, not for filling a jug.
Why choose this over the Moen Chateau on this shelf?
Reach and mounting. The 6145 publishes 5.5 inches of reach against 4.36 for the Chateau, so the water lands nearer the middle of a wide bowl, and it can go on a single-hole counter. The Chateau is a few dollars cheaper and sits only on a 3-hole sink.
