ProClean high-pressure spray: cleans tile and hard-to-reach places 2x faster, without scrubbing
Wide fan spray covers more surface; limited water splashback
6 settings: ProClean, full spray, full spray + massage, massage, shampoo rinsing, pause
Lifetime limited warranty
1.75 gpm, Touch-Clean spray holes, 72 in hose (spec table)
Legal everywhere
1.75 gpm sits under the 1.8 gpm limit that California and several other states apply to shower heads. Of the handhelds on this shelf with a published flow, it is the lowest. In a state with a flow rule, that is the first thing to check, and here it is settled.
The cleaning spray
ProClean is a flat fan for the shower walls and corners. Delta’s own figure, 2x faster, has no method attached; what can be said is that it is a dedicated cleaning setting, like the AquaCare’s power wash.
What is not stated
Face size, weight and anything about the bracket. For a lifetime warranty from a major maker, that is a light page.

The questions we get
What is ProClean?
A wide, flat fan of water for rinsing tile, glass and corners. Delta states it cleans twice as fast and splashes back less than a normal spray. It is a cleaning setting rather than a shower setting.
Is 1.75 gpm legal in my state?
1.75 gpm is under the strictest state limit, 1.8 gpm in California and several others, and well under the 2.5 gpm federal ceiling. It is one of the few handhelds on this shelf you can install anywhere in the US without checking.
How does it compare with the AquaCare?
Both have a fan-shaped cleaning spray and a 72-inch hose. AquaCare has eight settings and a second low bracket for about $30; Delta has six settings, a clearer flow figure and a lifetime warranty for about $34.
