AquaCare 8-mode handheld shower head review
A handheld shower with eight settings, two of them a fan-shaped power wash for tub and tile, a 72-inch hose and a second low bracket — 1.8 gpm, in chrome ABS.
Angle-adjustable overhead bracket and a low-reach wall bracket with adhesive back
The length and the low bracket
A handheld is only as useful as its hose and where you can park it. 72 inches is the longest hose among the handhelds here, matched by the Delta, and the low bracket puts the head within reach from a seat or the tub. That combination is what the AquaCare is built around.
A cleaning tool in the shower head
The two power-wash settings are fans of water, not shower sprays. They rinse soap scum off tile and the tub, and shampoo out of a dog’s coat, without stepping in.
Two flow figures
The spec table’s flow field says 1.8 gpm; its style field says 2.5 gallons per minute. The first is the California limit, the second the federal ceiling. If your state limits shower flow, confirm which version you will receive.

The questions we get
What is the power wash for?
Two of the eight settings are a narrow and a wide fan of water, meant to rinse soap scum off tile and the tub from a distance, or to rinse shampoo out of a pet's coat. It is a cleaning spray, not a shower setting.
Is it 1.8 or 2.5 gpm?
The flow field says 1.8 gpm and the style field says 2.5. 2.5 gpm is the federal maximum for shower heads; 1.8 gpm is the California limit. If you live in a state with a 1.8 or 2.0 gpm rule, ask the seller which version ships.
Why a second bracket?
The overhead bracket replaces the fixed head on the shower arm. The low bracket sticks to the wall at sitting height, so the handheld can be parked within reach from a shower seat or the tub.
