What DUMOS puts in writing

Three color temperatures, dimming to 20%, a defogger that clears from the center out and a memory function that restores both brightness and color. The same on all three sizes.

What the listings leave out

CRI, the figure that would back the true-to-color claim; color temperature describes the hue of the light, not its accuracy. Glass thickness and tempering, on mirrors up to twelve square feet hung above a hard sink. Whether the defogger turns itself off, and how the mirror takes power — plug or hard wire. Two of the listings also give the same weight for mirrors with a third more glass between them.

Against the other names

Against the Antok on the same shelf, which publishes CRI over 90, separate front and back lighting, 5 mm tempered glass and a defogger cut-off at 60 minutes, DUMOS costs less per square foot and publishes less. Choose on the wall: if the space allows the 36 × 48, it is the best value DUMOS sells here.
