Pfister

The faucets that write out the lead-free laws and put the drain in the box

What this site covers

Four Pfister products are reviewed here, all sold on Amazon.com on October 29, 2026:

  • The Vaneri LF042VRIBB, a matte black single-hole bathroom faucet with a 3-hole deckplate, at about $90.
  • The Courant LF049COPC, a two-handle 8-inch widespread faucet, at about $119.
  • The Talega F5297TEB pull-down kitchen faucet that installs from above the sink, at about $147.
  • The Weller RT65WRC Roman tub trim, which needs a Pfister valve body sold separately, at about $107.

What Pfister puts in writing

The lead-free laws. Both bathroom faucets state NSF certification to the lead content limits of California, Vermont, Maryland and Louisiana and the Safe Drinking Water Act — not just lead-free. A limited lifetime warranty on finish and function for as long as you own the home. A Push & Seal drain in the box with both bathroom faucets, installed without tools.

What the listings leave out

Spout figures on the Vaneri; and on the Courant, a spec table that gives 8 inches for spout height, 8 for reach and 7.75 for the whole faucet, which cannot all be right. On the Talega, no reach and no hole size. Cartridges are included and not described.

The trap in the tub trim

The Weller is trim only: spout and handles. Pfister states it works only with its own 0X6-050R or 0X6-150R valve body, sold separately, and will not function properly with another maker’s valve. Read that bullet before the price.

Against the other names

Pfister’s pages carry more paperwork than Moen’s and less geometry. On a remodel inspected under a permit, the named lead-free compliance is the more useful of the two.
