What the maker puts in writing
- “This LED mirror clears fog from the center out… Central area stays clear while edges gradually defog”
- Three color temperatures: Warm White (3000K), Natural White (4000K) “for true-to-color makeup application”, Cool White (6500K) for precise grooming
- A smart memory function saving and restoring the last used brightness and color temperature
- Touch control dimming “from a subtle 20% glow for nighttime visits to 100% full brilliance”
- A modern rectangular mirror with a slim profile and integrated LED technology
Which is the middle of DUMOS’s own range on this shelf, and the reason to look at the whole range before buying one of it:
24.1 x 32.1 — $56.90 — $10.60 per square foot
36.1 x 36.1 — $75.40 — $8.33
36.1 x 48.1 — $87.91 — $7.29
All three carry the same five bullets, letter for letter. Only the size changes.
So the choice is purely about the wall.
And this is the square one
That is the real argument for it.
Above a single sink a tall rectangle is natural. Above a double sink or a wide vanity, a square fills the wall without leaving the odd margins a narrow mirror leaves either side.
Thirty-six inches across covers most of a standard vanity top; thirty-six inches tall works for people of different heights.
It is the only square mirror on this shelf.
The weight that cannot be right
DUMOS lists this mirror at 20.6 lb (9344 g).
DUMOS lists its 36.1 x 48.1 mirror at 20.6 lb (9344 g).
The larger one has 12.06 square feet of glass against this one’s 9.05 — a third more — and glass is essentially the only thing in a mirror with mass.
For scale, the Antok here is 13.0 lb (5897 g) for 7.5 square feet.
One of those two figures is wrong, and on a nine-square-foot mirror that question is not academic: the weight decides the fixings and whether they need to find studs. Ask for the real number before drilling.
What is not on the page
No glass thickness. No tempering. On nine square feet of glass hung at head height above a hard sink, that is the omission that matters most — and the Antok on this shelf publishes 0.20 in (5 mm) tempered glass, so it is a specification a listing in this price range can give.
No CRI. The bullet promises true-to-color makeup application and offers a color temperature, which answers a different question. Color temperature is the hue of the white; CRI is whether a red reads as red. The Antok is the only mirror here that publishes one.
No defogger shut-off, where the Antok cuts out after 60 minutes.
And no word on whether it plugs in or hard-wires, which three of these four listings omit.
