This is not a vessel sink
Six of the eight listings on this shelf are bowls that sit on a counter you already own. This is a top — the sink and the surrounding surface are one piece of ceramic, and it replaces the counter.
They are not alternatives.
A vessel bowl on an existing vanity is a fifty-dollar afternoon: drill one hole, seat the bowl, fit the drain. An integrated top means taking out whatever is there now and confirming that 24 inches matches the cabinet underneath.
What an integrated top gives you is the seam. Or rather the absence of it: a vessel sink is sealed to a counter with a bead of silicone round its base, and that bead is where soap scum collects, where it discolors, and where in five years it fails and water finds the chipboard below.
An integrated sink has no such joint. The water runs from the counter into the bowl across one continuous glazed surface.
That is a genuine advantage and no listing on this shelf mentions it.
Three dollars twenty-two an inch
The cheapest inch on this shelf — against $3.60 for the best-value vessel bowl and $4.14 for the JONATHAN Y top, on October 29, 2026.
Twenty-four inches of ceramic with a sink in it, drilled and ready, for $77.16.
The drilling, and the word that is wrong
An 8-inch centerset. And again: 8” centerset holes.
Those two words do not belong together, and the distinction matters when you buy the faucet.
Centerset in American plumbing means a single-unit faucet — spout and both handles on one base plate — spanning 4 inches between the outer holes.
Widespread means three separate pieces spanning 8 inches.
Modway’s drilling is almost certainly an 8-inch widespread, and the JONATHAN Y top on this shelf describes exactly the same arrangement in the correct terms: the 1-3/8” faucet hole sits between 1.2” handle holes that span an 8” centered width.
Buy a widespread three-hole faucet. And ask Modway for the hole diameters before ordering it, because this listing publishes none.
The weight that cannot be right
5,443 g for a top of 24.5 x 18.5 in (622 x 470 mm).
Set against the other integrated top on this shelf: 34.8 lb (15,799 g) for 36 × 18.3 in (914 x 464 mm).
Per unit of surface that is 37 grams per thousand square millimeters for the JONATHAN Y and 19 for this — half the density, in the same material.
And this 24-inch top is listed as lighter than the 16-inch NATURFLAIR bowl (17.6 lb (8,001 g)) and the 16-inch Kichae (21.0 lb (9,525 g)). A 24-inch ceramic slab is not lighter than a 16-inch bowl.
Treat it as a catalog error, and plan the delivery for something heavy: an integrated top this size is a two-person lift.
Five bullets, two of them three words long
Narrow Integrated Countertop. Rectangular Basin.
What is not on the page: no drain opening size, so the drain cannot be ordered with confidence; no overflow either way, which decides whether that drain must be slotted; no weight you can rely on; and no warranty.
For comparison, the DeerValley vessel sink on this shelf — at $58.98 — publishes its drain opening, states that it has no overflow, and names the exact kind of drain to buy.
The Cayman is the cheapest ceramic per inch here and the least documented. Measure the cabinet, buy a widespread faucet, and ask for the drain size.
