Take the Kohler if your bowl is compact elongated, or if seats on your toilet tend to slide: Grip-Tight bumpers and an 18-inch length address both.
Measure from the center of the bolt holes to the front edge. About 18.5 inches is standard elongated, about 16.5 is round; a compact elongated bowl sits between, with an elongated shape.
Kohler states its seats are not returnable once opened. Measure before opening either box.
