What the maker puts in writing
- “The single hole bathroom faucet constructed from stainless steel. Modern matte black finish has some features, such as corrosion resistance and rustproof. The drain is made of plastic, so don’t worry about paint falling”
- “The ultra-wide tall waterfall spout design make large water flow. Single handle easy control flow and temperature. And the tall style is suitable for above counter basin”
- “The ceramic valve bathroom sink faucet has passed 500,000 test, has high sealing performance, is not easy to leak water”
- Suitable for single hole sinks; all parts and instructions included, and a stated ten-minute installation
- “We provide a limited lifetime warranty, if you have any questions, you can contact us at any time, we will deal with it for you within 24 hours”
A lifetime warranty for forty-eight dollars
That is the fact on this page, and it is the only one of its kind on this shelf.
RUMOSE: limited lifetime. Fransiton: one year. AVSIILE, Airuida, Ultimate Unicorn, BWE: nothing published.
The most expensive faucet here is $72.95 and publishes no warranty at all.
“Limited” will carry the usual exclusions — abrasive cleaners, installation damage, almost certainly original purchaser only — so keep the receipt. The parts that fail on a faucet are the cartridge and the finish, and a lifetime claim covering either is more than anything else on this shelf offers.
Three hundred millimeters, which is the fit question
A vessel sink sits on top of the counter and raises the water five or six inches.
So a faucet over one needs about eleven to thirteen inches of height for the stream to clear the rim and leave room for hands. This is 11.8 in (300 mm) — just under twelve.
And the listing says so: the tall style is suitable for above counter basin.
Compare the Ultimate Unicorn here at 5.98 in (152 mm) and the AVSIILE at 7.09 in (180 mm). Both are standard-height faucets, both are perfectly good over a drop-in bowl, and both would be unusable over a raised vessel.
Half of this shelf publishes no height at all.
The plastic drain, defended
The drain is made of plastic, so don’t worry about paint falling.
That is an unusual thing to volunteer and the reasoning is right.
A matte black metal drain is a coated metal drain, and the coating chips precisely where the plug seats and where a brush catches it. Then it flakes, and brass shows through black.
Plastic in matte black is colored through. A scratch is the same color as the surface.
The Ultimate Unicorn on this shelf supplies a metal drain — which is the better answer in brushed nickel, where the finish is the metal itself.
Two makers, opposite choices, both correct for their own finish. It is the only honest disagreement on this shelf.
Where it is behind
Five hundred thousand cycles on the valve, against 600,000 from the Fransiton — which costs $11 less and includes a one-year warranty and a deck plate.
No flow rate, where the Airuida publishes 1.2 GPM.
No mounting hole size, which is what tells you whether it fits the sink: Airuida publishes 0.98 to 1.57 inches, Fransiton 1.25 to 1.6.
And nothing about the stream. On a faucet chosen for how its water looks, the AVSIILE here says aerated and the BWE says laminar — opposite effects. This says only “large water flow”.
