What the maker puts in writing
- “Features an auto-sensing LED inside the upper cabinet, lighting up in low light to make nighttime access easy and safe. Requires batteries (not included)”
- “Includes an upper louvered door cabinet with a tempered glass shelf for visibility, plus an open shelf, drawer, and bottom cabinet”
- “At just 11.8” wide, this slim freestanding cabinet fits narrow corners and beside the toilet”
- “The slatted doors allow air to circulate inside the cabinet while keeping your items hidden from view. Ideal for keeping towels and toiletries fresh in humid bathroom conditions”
- “Crafted from E1-grade MDF, tempered glass, and anchored with anti-tip hardware”
The louvred doors
This is the only cabinet on this shelf that thinks about what actually goes inside it.
A bathroom cabinet holds damp towels, used flannels, wet sponges — in a room that fills with steam twice a day.
Seal that in a solid MDF box and it does not dry. It stays damp. In a few weeks the cabinet smells, and the towels have gray spots on them.
Slats let the air move through while still hiding the contents. That is the whole argument, and the bullet makes it directly: ideal for keeping towels and toiletries fresh in humid bathroom conditions.
Five other cabinets on this shelf are solid boxes. The VASAGLE UBBK760 offers a translucent upper door, which lets you see in and does nothing whatever for the air.
Two specifications nobody else publishes
E1-grade MDF. The European formaldehyde emission class, at the stricter end of the common grades. The formaldehyde comes from the resin that binds MDF, it off-gasses hardest in the first months, and a bathroom is small, warm and frequently has no window. No other cabinet here publishes a class.
A tempered glass shelf. Which does two things: you can see through it to what is below, and it will not sag under a row of bottles the way a thin MDF shelf does. Nobody else here publishes a shelf material at all.
And it is the cheapest
$55.99, against $63.98, $70.90, $89.99 twice and $99.99 on October 29, 2026.
Eight dollars below the next cheapest, with about 148 square inches of floor against 62 for the slimmest and 195 for the roomiest.
So the cheapest cabinet here is also the best specified and nearly the roomiest. That is unusual enough to state plainly: on the published information this is the buy on this shelf.
The anti-tip hardware, which all six include
Worth understanding rather than skimming, because it is the one thing every listing here has.
These cabinets are 1.7 to 1.8 meters (6 to 6 ft) tall and 20 to 32 centimeters deep. The SoBuy on this shelf is 7.87 in (200 mm) deep and 70.9 in (1800 mm) tall — a ratio of nine to one.
A child pulling on a drawer, a towel caught on a door, a knock while cleaning — and it goes over. Anti-tip hardware screws the back of the cabinet to the wall and is not optional.
Fit it. All six makers supply it because all six know.
The light, with a question attached
An auto-sensing LED… lighting up in low light.
Inside a closed cabinet it is always dark. A purely ambient sensor would therefore run continuously and flatten its batteries within days.
Almost certainly there is a door switch as well, or the sensor is motion-triggered. The listing does not say, and the batteries are not included.
The two VASAGLE UBBC566 cabinets here use the other approach — a strip triggered by the door opening and closing — though they do not say how it is powered either.
Ask before counting on it.
What is not published
No shelf adjustment. The VASAGLE UBBC765 on this shelf offers four shelves with five positions each.
No load capacity. Only the SoBuy publishes one, at 99 lb.
No reversible doors. Four of the six cabinets here can be assembled to open left or right, which in a bathroom is decided by where the door and the toilet are. This one does not say.
One oddity to note: the published weight of 33.1 lb (15,014 g) is identical, to the gram, to the VASAGLE UBBC566 on this shelf — a different cabinet from a different maker. One of the two figures is a catalog duplication.
