Neodrain 24 in linear shower drain review
A 24-inch AISI 304 linear drain, cUPC and WaterMark certified, with a stated 50.5 L/min flow, a 2-inch outlet for a US no-hub drain base sold separately.
24 in long, 2.75 in wide, 2 in outlet; shallow V profile
Average discharge of 50.5 L/min without the filter mesh
AISI 304 stainless steel; WaterMark and cUPC certified
Grate opens with a lifting hook; hair strainer; adjustable feet; threaded adapter
Fits US no-hub coupling; the 2 in drain base is sold separately; not compatible with Schluter Kerdi
The listing that matters
cUPC is what a US plumbing inspector looks for on a drain. Neodrain states it, along with Australia’s WaterMark. The DLONE on this shelf states neither.
A flow figure, converted
50.5 L/min is about 13.3 gpm, several times what a shower head delivers. It is measured without the strainer.
What to buy with it
The channel sits on a 2-inch drain base that is not in the box, PVC or ABS to match your line. And it has to tie into the shower’s waterproofing; Neodrain says plainly it does not suit the Schluter Kerdi system.

The questions we get
Is 13 gpm enough?
Yes, with a large margin. A shower head is limited to 2.5 gpm federally and 1.8 gpm in several states; even two heads together are well under the 50.5 L/min, about 13.3 gpm, stated here. The figure is measured without the hair strainer, which slows it a little.
What else do I need?
A 2-inch drain base, PVC or ABS to match your pipe, which Neodrain sells separately, and a waterproofing system the drain is compatible with. The listing excludes the Schluter Kerdi kit.
Where is the trap?
Below the floor, in the drain line, as in any American shower. The channel itself holds no water seal.
