Valve, trim and heads in one box — and the valve goes in the wall · review
HammerHead Showers 10 in rain shower system review
A solid metal shower system — valve, trim, 10-inch rain head on a 16-inch arm and a three-setting handheld — with a separate diverter handle, cUPC listed, at 2.5 gpm.
Complete set: valve kit with trim, rainfall head, handheld, overhead arm, wall mount, 72 in metal hose
Stainless steel and brass from the heads to the mixing valve and trim; cUPC certified
Two handles: one for volume and temperature, one to switch between rain head and handheld
10 in rain head on a 16 in wall arm, no ceiling plumbing needed
3-setting handheld: wide, massage, mist; 2.5 gpm
Metal throughout
Many systems are metal at the head and plastic at the valve trim. HammerHead states stainless and brass from the heads to the valve, and cUPC listing. At this price, that is what you are buying.
Overhead without the ceiling
The 16-inch arm brings the 10-inch head out from the wall far enough to fall roughly overhead, which a standard arm does not.
Two things to ask
The valve type. It is described as a mixing valve. Codes require pressure-balancing or thermostatic protection on showers; the page does not say which this is.
Your state’s flow limit. At 2.5 gpm, it cannot be sold in California and other low-flow states.

The questions we get
Is the valve pressure-balancing?
The listing calls it a mixing valve with an integrated diverter and does not say pressure-balancing or thermostatic. US codes require one of the two on shower valves. Ask HammerHead which it is before buying for a permitted job.
Why two handles?
One sets temperature and volume; the other only chooses the outlet, rain head or handheld. You switch between them without touching the temperature. The Delta system on this shelf does the same with its MultiChoice trim.
Can it go in California?
Not as listed: 2.5 gpm is over the 1.8 gpm limit for shower heads there. The SR SUN RISE system on this shelf is 1.75 gpm and CEC approved.
