What the maker puts in writing
- “The small and stylish Triangular design requires very little installation space and is perfect for small bathrooms, garages, or Rv bathroom sink… It can also be used as a children’s sink as it is a mini floating sink with free height adjustment”
- “Preferred plastic material, lightweight and unbreakable, complimentary full set of installation accessories”
- “Two types of wall mounting: 1. no-hole installation, we gift suction cup adhesive stickers, which can be firmly glued to tiles, glass, and other smooth surfaces, without damaging the wall, 2. uneven rough walls can be punched using screws”
- “Complimentary anti-odor sewer hose: It can drain horizontally or downward, and the hose can be freely retracted and bent… The left and right sides of the sink are designed with 1.26-inch diameter faucet holes, so you are free to choose the direction of installation!”
Four hundred and ninety-nine grams
That figure tells you what this is, and it is worth putting beside the rest of this shelf before anything else:
499 g — this, and the shawoo semicircular sink
5,498 g — XIFIRY ceramic
6,250 g — CHIKESI vitreous china
9,000 g — MEJE ceramic
12,719 g — PROFLO vitreous china
Eleven to twenty-five times.
Five sinks on this shelf are fired ceramic bolted through a wall. Two are molded plastic stuck to tiles. They are not competing products, and the titles are honest about it: Home, Dorm, Garage, Rv sink, children’s sink.
Which makes the fixing the whole proposition
No-hole installation… firmly glued to tiles, glass, and other smooth surfaces, without damaging the wall.
That sentence is the reason to buy this and nothing else on this shelf.
In a rented room, a hole in a tiled wall is a deposit. In a camper, there is nothing behind the panel to bolt into. In a garage, drilling into block for a hand sink is an afternoon.
And the alternative is supplied too: screws, for rough walls. Use them if the wall allows, because adhesive is the compromise.
What it will and will not take
Empty and full, the adhesive is plausible: twelve inches of sink holds perhaps two liters, which is two kilograms on half a kilogram of plastic.
What it will not take is a person.
A ceramic wall-mount sink is bolted through the wall into blocking or a steel frame precisely because people lean on sinks, steady themselves on them and sit children on them.
This listing publishes no weight rating at all. Treat it as a vessel for washing hands.
A hole on each side, which is genuinely clever
The left and right sides of the sink are designed with 1.26-inch diameter faucet holes, so you are free to choose the direction of installation.
A corner has two walls and only one of them will have plumbing in it. A sink drilled on one side has to be oriented the way the hole says; this one lets you decide at installation.
None of the five ceramic sinks here offers that — and two of them are handed, meaning the bowl is offset to one side and the wrong hand is simply the wrong product.
And the hose instead of a trap
Anti-odor sewer hose: It can drain horizontally or downward, and the hose can be freely retracted and bent.
Which is what makes this fittable where there is no drain stub.
The honest caveats: a flexible corrugated hose is not a code-compliant trap, its ribbed interior catches hair and soap, and “anti-odor” depends on a bend in it holding water.
For a hand sink in a garage, a fair trade. For a bathroom, the ceramic sinks on this shelf plus a proper P-trap are the right answer — and three of those publish a 1 3/4 inch drain opening to match a standard drain.
What is not published
No overflow, which on a sink with a plug is what stops a running faucet reaching the floor. Two sinks on this shelf publish one.
No interior bowl dimensions. CHIKESI and MEJE both publish theirs, and the difference between exterior and interior is large — MEJE is 16 inches wide outside and 10.6 inside.
No warranty, where XIFIRY publishes twelve months and thirty days’ money back.
