- “Measuring a standardized 30” W x 18” D x 34” H… It features a comfortable 34” height to reduce back strain”
- “This bathroom vanity ships in one package and requires self-installation… allowing you to easily complete the installation in 1-2 hours (Faucet, mirror and drain not included)”
Forty-three kilograms
The heaviest vanity on this shelf, and the number that tells you most about it.
1,445 grams per inch of width. The other thirty-inch units here: IRONCK 1,361, Tribesigns 1,346, and the Naturoasis 750.
In cabinet furniture, mass is panel thickness and sink thickness. Both matter — thin panels sag under a loaded shelf and strip their screws, and a thin sink chips.
This is the most material on the shelf for the money.
A toe-kick, published
Three inches, and LIKIMIO is the only maker here to mention one.
It is the recess at the bottom front of the cabinet, and without it your toes meet the plinth before your body reaches the bowl — so you lean out over the countertop to reach the faucet, which is the posture that hurts backs.
It pairs with the other figure in the same bullet: 34 inches tall, which is comfort height rather than the 30 to 32 inches American vanities used to be. Four of the five here are at 34, and it suits adults rather better than it suits children.
A sealed base as well, which keeps the dust and the water off the underside of the carcass — the part that is never cleaned and is where a wood panel starts to swell.
Soft-close on everything
The door and both drawers, with adjustable hinges.
Adjustable hinges matter more than they sound: a vanity on an uneven bathroom floor sits slightly out of true, and the doors stop lining up. Being able to bring them back square without unscrewing anything is the difference between a cabinet that looks made and one that looks assembled.
Two drawers, one shallow and one deep, which is the right division — flat things and tall things.
An overflow channel
It is the only vanity on this shelf that publishes one.
It is the hole near the rim that takes the water when somebody leaves the faucet running with the plug in, and the other four listings here do not mention it at all.
Four-inch centers, which decide your faucet
Three holes, 4-inch centerset.
That is a one-piece faucet with spout and both handles on a single base plate. What will not fit: a widespread set on 8-inch centers, or a single-hole faucet — which would leave two holes showing unless you buy a deck plate.
IRONCK on this shelf publishes 5.5 inch centers, which matches neither American standard and should be queried. Christopher Knight and Naturoasis are single-hole.
The drilling is the one thing on this shelf you cannot change afterwards. Choose the faucet first.
And FSC, which is a sourcing claim
Forest Stewardship Council certification means the fiber came from forests managed to a published standard with chain-of-custody documentation.
It is the only sourcing claim on this shelf. It says nothing about how the panel behaves in a damp room — the weight does that.
One to two hours
Against JUMMICO’s claimed twenty to thirty minutes on this shelf, for a smaller unit with one drawer.
One to two hours is the honest figure for a thirty-inch vanity with a door, two drawers and a sink, and LIKIMIO publishing it rather than a flattering number is to its credit.
No load ratings, though — IRONCK publishes over 200 lb on the countertop and 30 lb a drawer, for exactly the same $239.99.
